HBP Set Report and Draco Picture!
Posted by Megs

A member of the Leaky Lounge on TLC got to visit the HBP set and has written up a set report! They also got an autographed picture of Draco, which is a new Half-Blood Prince promo shot. You can see that HERE.

We couldn’t get into moaning Myrtle’s bathroom because it was locked. They filmed the Sectumsempra scene there last week. They told me Tom had to lie in the fake blood and water for hours. He had a prosthetic chest on which pumped out fake blood and for each new take he had to get cleaned up and dry his hair before starting again. There are some pictures floating about of the scene and they look like Tom is lying dead in a pool of blood, very freaky for his friends to see!

Chatting with Death Eaters
Posted by Megs

Blog Hogwarts did a small interview with Death Eater actor Lord Johnpaul Castrianni., and The Portkey translated it.  We find out that there are a few characters/actors that WB hasn’t announced officially yet!

BlogHogwarts: Have you read any of the Harry Potter books before you obtained the role?
Lord Johnpaul Castrianni: I am a very big fan, if not the greatest fan of the Harry Potter books, so yes, I could say I have read the books before.

BH: Have you already shot scenes of Half-Blood Prince? In which scenes are you present?
LJC: My scenes were filmed several months ago and I finished in February (2008). I was in the scenes regarding Alan Rickman, Dan, Michael (Dumbledore) Tom (Malfoy) and several other cast who I believe have not been officially published by Warner Brothers yet, so unfortunately I cannot comment on that yet.

BH: How do you feel about being in a Harry Potter film?
LJC: For me, the fact I was chosen to be in Harry Potter was the greatest feeling in the world, almost as great as being offered a job at Walt Disney World in Florida where i currently am living for the year until 2009. Then who knows… what i may be required for in Deathly Hallows?

A few days ago SnitchSeeker spoke to Hamilton Hodell, the agency that represents Shirley Henderson, who plays Moaning Myrtle in Harry Potter. They said, ” I’m sorry to report that Moaning Myrtle has not made it into the latest film.”

Dan in USA Weekend
Posted by Megs

There is a small snippet about Harry Potter in USA Weekend!  The lady that asked the question doesn’t seem to be a Potter fan, ha ha.

Q: Now that the last of the Harry Potter films is complete, does star Daniel Radcliffe have other movies already lined up?
Not so fast, Ruth. The film of the sixth Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is still in production for November release, and the Potter-meisters at Warner Bros. have decided to make two films out of the seventh and last in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Those will be shot together next year for release in Novermber 2010 and May 2011. However, Radcliffe, 18, already is branching out. In September, he opens in Equus on Broadway.

I will get a scan up ASAP!
