Waterstone’s has launched a contest asking the public to submit their own stories. Winners of this event, two adults and one child from the Waterstones.com and store entries, will also appear in a postcard book alongside the authors’ stories. This book will be available for purchase later this year, with proceeds of the sales to benefit Dyslexia Action and English PEN as well.

Julie Walters from the Harry Potter films will be playing “Mary Whitehouse, who embarked on a one-woman mission to clean up British television, in a new BBC drama”.
Julie plays Mrs. Weasley in the Harry Potter films.

The Mary Whitehouse Story will be broadcast on BBC 2 at 9pm on Wednesday May 28.

Today, May 16th, is Stanislav Ianevski’s 23rd birthday! Stan played Victor Krum in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire!

Harry Potter was mentioned really quickly on tonights episode of Ugly Betty! I squealed when I heard it and my mommy yelled at me, ha ha. Mark, who works for Whilemena said:

Thanks to Bright on the Sassy forums we have a new image from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!  It looks like Harry in the boys dorm room, but I am not too sure.

Thanks to  Bonnie Wright Online, we know that Bonnie will be appearing in BBC Four‘s Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures on Saturday! She is playing young Agatha.  This movie originally came out in 2004.
