The Boston Globe is reporting that John Williams will be working on Harry Potter and the Half-Blood  Prince.

Williams, now 76, was conductor of the Pops from 1980 to 1993. According to industry reports, he remains a busy man, with soundtracks for “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” “Jurassic Park IV,” and “Superman: Man of Steel” all scheduled for his touch.

But if you guys remember, we got a press release in November that said Nicholas Hooper would score Half-Blood Prince. So we don’t know if this means John Williams will be contributing a little to the score, or will be taking over the whole thing.  More as it comes.

It has been announced that James Phelps will no longer be attending the Florida Supercon because he will be on the set of Half-Blood Prince.

Due to a scheduling conflict James Phelps has had to cancel his appearance at FSC. James will be working on the crew of the new Harry Potter film the weekend of the even and will be unable to leave the UK. UE.

So the updated list of HP Stars attending is; Devon Murray, Stanislav Ianevski, Oliver Phelps, Natalia Tena, Hugh Mitchell (Colin Creevey), Danielle Tabor (Angelina Johnson) and David Decio (Hogwarts Student).

Paul Whitehouse, the actor who plays Sir Cadogan in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is celebrating his 50th birthday (May 17th)!

United Agents, the agency that represents Bonnie Wright (Ginny) and Jessie Cave (Lavender) has stated that Bonnie is completed with her Half Blood Prince filming and that Jessie is still filming.
