As I posted yesterday, Robbie Coltrane was on the Johnathon Ross show last night. He talked a little about Half-Blood Prince. You can view a video of him on it below:
WB has issued a press release that names the product lines that will be released in the fall for Half-Blood Prince. The Licensing International Expo will be taking place this weekend in New York and they will be showing some of these items there.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is slated for release around the world in November 2008 and will be supported by merchandise from licensees including PopCo Entertainment Ltd (formerly Corgi International), Noble Collection, NECA, Mattel, Panini, DeAgostini, Giant Merchandising, Tonner Doll, Gentle Giant, and Jibbitz.
Robbie Coltrane will be a guest on the Friday Night with Jonathan Ross program, which will be on tonight from 10:35 pm – 11:35 pm on BBC One in the UK.
I am not sure whether Robbie will mention his role as Hagrid in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince or not. If anyone can capture a video of his segment, please send it in!
Alec Hopkins, who played Young Severus Snape in Order of the Phoenix, will be attending a film and comic book convention which takes place in Wrexham this weekend at.
30p from each entrance fee will go to Hope House Hospice. Local charity, Finn’s Appeal, will also be supported. The event will feature autograph signing, guest talks, celebrity auctions and photo shoots.
There will also be dealers and stalls from around the UK supplying merchandise such as action figures, comics, collector cards, t-shirts, art work, autographs and posters.
The first ever North Wales Film Exhibition takes place on Sunday at Newi, with doors opening at 10am. Tickets are �£5 for adults and �£3 for children.
As you know, JK Rowling is the principal speaker at this year’s Harvard Commencement ceremony. She arrived at Harvard yesterday evening to attend a reception at Loeb House before the annual dinner for honorary degree candidates.
