Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), has been cast in the newest adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland to be directed by her husband Tim Burton.  She will play the Red Queen; also in the film are Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska (who plays Alice).

Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory) is set to be recieve an award at the12th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards which recognizes the achievements made by actors in new films. MediaBistro reports that Rob will being honored with the New Hollywood Award at the ceremony.

The gala and ceremony is set to take place October 27th, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

Amazon is celebrating ten years of online retailing this year so Amazon.co.uk has released a list of the top-selling books over that period of time.  The two top spots are held by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince at Number 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. at Number 2.  YAY for DH and HBP!!
