Hey guys! I just wanted to let you all know that starting tomorrow on Monday’s and Tuesdays, for about a month, I won’t be able to update with news until after 2 because I have a graphic design internship!! But never fear I’ll update as soon as I can with all the news I missed. Soon news will be slowing down anyways after the HBP craziness.
I also have a mini vacation coming up, but I will be bringing my Mac there in hopes of finding wireless, that’s only for a few days.
This coming Thursday, the 16th, ABC will be airing a special on JK Rowling! According to my guide this is a brand new special, but I believe that it is the one shown in the UK last year.
J.K. Rowling: A Year in the Life (ABC, 8pm): “Elizabeth Vargas profiles the author of the Harry Potter novels.” Part two of her story won’t come out until 2011.
The description also says:
Correspondent Elizabeth Vargas takes a behind-the-scenes journey into the life of the woman who started with “nothing” and rose to become one of the post beloved modern fantasy writers in the world through her innovative story-telling.
Clips from abc Family’s Harry Potter weekend are now appearing online! I have made a playlist that you can watch below! Enjoy the previews of HBP! So far we have the Quidditch, Lavender Brown, First Look and Harry Potter segments:
UGO Movie Blog has a new interview with Bonnie Wright!
This movie is genuinely scary. Was there a definite vibe on set of something a little more adult than previous ones?
“Yes, definitely. There are some pretty violent scenes. The Horcrux cave when Harry fights the Inferi, that is definitely frightening. And I’m glad that David did it that way. These are children’s books, but the characters grow and progress, and there has to be some new adult subject matter introduced. It can’t be as childish as the earlier movies.”
And you’re filming the final movie, or movies?
“Yes, I’ll be done in September.”
And what does life after Potter look like for you?
“I’ll be going to film school in London, this fall. I’m very excited.”
