Oliver Phelps: Interesting Tweet
Posted by Megs

Today Oliver Phelps, George Weasley, posted a very interesting tweet! If you have read Deathly Hallows you will know what his holiness means 😉

OliverPhelpsWicked days filming today. I can say I am the first actor in the UK to have a VFX MOVA facial capture scan. Exciting technology.

Very cool, I can’t wait to see it in the film, even though it will be very sad.

UPDATE:  Hmm, apparently there have been previous reports about this type of special effect and this technology will be used for the Seven Potters as the actors all will be undergoing scans to have molds made of faces as they Polyjuice into Harry.  But it could be for both Holey George and the Seven Potters scene

Rupert: End of Potter Series
Posted by Megs

In a new interview with Newsbeat Rupert Grint talks about the approaching end of the Harry Potter films.

“I’m just trying to make the most of it really because it is going to end. I think it is going to be sad, but I’m ready to move on as well. At the moment we’ve got so much to do. Because it’s two films it’s going to take a year.”

He admitted that snogging Emma, who plays Hermione Granger in the movie, was a bit weird. “We were dreading it to be honest, because we’ve grown up together and it just seemed wrong really,” he said. “It was fine. We just really believed we were Ron and Hermione and not Rupert and Emma and it was OK. It was only a few takes, so it didn’t last long.”

Most of the main cast members have worked on Harry Potter since the first movie was released back in 2001. Rupert says they all plan to keep in touch as they’ve been friends for so long. He said: “We get on great. It’s been quite a long few years and we’ve kind of grown up with each other and gone through a lot. We’re close. It’s good. Emma’s going to university and she’ll be busy and stuff but hopefully we’ll all stay in touch. We all get on.”

Tom Felton: Grace and Danger
Posted by Megs

Tom Felton will be filming a new movie called Grace and Danger. He will be playing American soldier, Private Carnaby.  Here is some information about the film: “WWII France. 7 allied soldiers rescue a young woman from a village massacre, and promise to escort her to safety. However, during their perilous journey the group begins to fall apart. Hunted by Nazi S.S. officers, trekking through a foreign landscape, they fight for their survival.” Rhys Hayward has just posted the following on thee Grace and Danger Facebook page.

What a start to the week!

I’m somewhat speechless – things have been a little tense these past few weeks (as most of you know!), but I’m very pleased to announce that TOM FELTON is now officially attached to Grace & Danger!!!!!!!! I’ve just returned home to find an e-mail from Tom’s agent and a letter of intent! Hard to believe it!

Rhys Hayward is auditioning another Harry Potter actor for a role in the film, that person is unknown so far, hopefully we find out soon!

Thanks FeltBeats!
