There will be a Harry Potter marathon on April 5th starting at 10am as part of the Leeds Young People’s Film Festival. The festival takes place at the Hyde Park Picture House from March 29 to April 9 and will feature screenings, workshops and guest appearances. Chris Rankin, and maybe some other stars, will be in attendance. The page says guests and only mentions Chris, so who knows!
With the final Harry Potter film due out later this year we’re giving you the chance to go back to the beginning and see the first four films on the big screen. As well as the films we have some special guests lined up, including Chris Rankin who plays Percy Weasley in the series, who will be here to talk about being part of the most successful film franchise ever made. To make the day even more fun we want you to come in costume as there will be prizes throughout the day for best dressed, so dig out your best Wizarding robes, dust off that wand and join us for a truly magical day!
Ticket Prices are as follows:
Harry Potter All Day Pass: £8.00 People under 19 Or £10.00 For over 19’s

Bloomsbury’s official website reveals that they will be releasing a “Celebratory Edition” of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows due to be released in October:
The [seventh] book in this award-winning and phenomenally bestselling series, this time in a bright, colourful and starry edition to celebrate the phenomenal international sales of Harry Potter.
The weird thing is, the description of the story is for Half-Blood Prince. Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows are the only books without celebratory editions, so, this could either be the Celebratory Edition of either of them. You can buy the other celebratory editions here on amazon.co.uk or here on amazon.com !
Thanks Mugglenet!

Welcome to the 1st edition of Collectible of the Week! Each week I will be talking about an item from my Harry Potter collection! This week I decided to start with a very special book: Book Expo of America Exclusive Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Paperback.

About: This very special edition was limited to 5,000 copies & given out at the 2004 Chicago Book Expo of America. The cover of the book is the same as the cover on the Deluxe Edition & inside the book there is a thank you from Scholastic that tells you it is a limited edition. If you don’t own a copy of OotP & want one to read, this is not the book for you; it should be displayed & never read to keep its value.
Value: Since this was limited to 5,000 copies its pretty rare & the price reflects that. Usually it sells for over $100 (I lucked out & paid about $30); but in this economy you may be able to score a great deal!
Buy it: Sadly, the only way to get this book is through eBay (or similar sites/stores), luckily there is 1 online now for $40 + free shipping! Buy it HERE; be fast, there’s only one! To find more search for Order of the Phoenix books & you may get lucky!
Rating: 10/10 This is definitely a favorite in my collection, which is saying a lot!

As So-Bonnie reported earlier in the week, Bonnie Wright participated in a photoshoot for Oxfam to promote her parents’ jewelry line, Wright & Teague.
Breaking from her preparations for the Oxfam fashion shoot – starring the collaborators’ daughter, Harry Potter actress Bonnie Wright – Sasha describes the company’s efforts as, “aiming to be all inclusive”.

Thanks SS for the photos!
