Daniel Radcliffe is set to be in a new filme called My Boy Jack with Emmy Winner Kim Cattrall.  Dan will be playing Rudyard Kipling’s son.  The movie will be shot in Ireland in July.

JK Rowling has chosen a new fan site for her Fan Site Award on her website. She chose Harry Potter Fan Zone.

How could I not love a fansite whose contributors include people named Thaddeus and Aunna? This is a great Australian site with an impressively young staff who have produced some really insightful editorials; I wish I could highlight a couple of them, but that would be waaaay too revealing. If you head over to FAQs, however, you will see some of the open letter questions answered (at long last, yes, I know… but I had to finish “Deathly Hallows” first)

EA is putting out a Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix mobile game.

The goal of the game is join the assembled Dumbledore’s Army (made up of like-minded students) and do battle with dealers of the Dark Arts. You must quest through the cavernous magic institution, engage enemies in wizard battles by playing timing mini-games, and even fly Harry’s pet owl to meet certain objectives. According to EA, there is about two hours of gameplay in the Phoenix story mode, plus extra goodies, such as a standalone wizard battle component.
