Harry Latino has done an interview with actress Evanna Lynch who plays Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  Some exerpts:

Why did you want to play Luna?
Because it’s very unusual to find people like her. Most of us have some kind of cover against the rest, but she doesn’t, and she’s conscious of it, and happy about it.

And what what about the earrings you are using? Did you made them yourself, like in the movie?
Oh, yes. But J.K.Rowling gave me this one herself [pointing at her silvery necklace with a hare and a moon (“Luna” in Spanish means moon)]

JK Rowling, Emma Watson (Hermione) and Ralph Fiennes (Voldemort) attended a dinner for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation in London this evening.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Raisa Gorbachev Centre of Children’s Hematology and Transplantology in St Petersburg and entertainment was provided by Elton John and the Scissor Sisters.
