The Official UK Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix web site has recently been updated with news that fans can watch the red-carpet premiere live from London on July 3rd.
The premiere will be streamed on the official site starting at 5 pm (BST) and you can check out the World Clock to find out what time that will be at your location.
They did this for Goblet of Fire as well and I watched and it was great. A good substitute since I cannot physically go to the premiere.

As I posted a little while ago (can’t remember when), the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Audiobook will be released at the same time as the book (July 21st). Click here to hear Stephen Fry’s talk about it, and here to see a picture of Stephen and JK Rowling.
Here are some other interesting (random) facts about this audiobook:
-Listening time for the DH audio edition is 24 hours and 1 minute -Stephen Fry has spent a total of 38 days in the studio recording all seven Harry Potter books -Stephen Fry has voices for over 170 characters from the books -In the same time as it takes to listen to all seven audiobooks you could go to the moon, and still have nearly a day left over to look around, or listen to a Harry Potter book, once you got there. -In the same time as it takes to listen to the Deathly Hallows audiobook, you could: · Fly from London to Sydney, Australia · Watch The Wizard of Oz 14 times
Thanks Mugglenet!

Michael Goldenberg, the screenwriter for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has done a new interview.
Mr. Goldenberg’s thoughts on when offered the fifth movie:
It was one of those things where the call came in, and you’re thrilled, but at the same time there’s that moment of realizing you’ve just lost control of your life for the next couple of years.
And so when I read it, I was very aware of that and very careful to mark up what jumped out at me and what seemed obligatory and what really moved me and what I felt needed to be in the movie.
Goldenberg one of the most pivotal scenes, the pensieve:
…that kind of loss of innocence – seeing a parent whom you’ve idolized suddenly revealed as flawed, and an authority like Snape, whom you’ve demonized, suddenly revealed as much more complicated than you first thought.
