David Heyman has done a new interview with LatinoReview where he discusses Order of the Phoenix and more.

“I didn’t have a clue,” Heyman says. “I knew there’d be seven books, but I had no notion that we’d be making two films, let alone seven. One was even a dream because so many projects end up in development (and no further). So I had no idea, but as the process evolved it became clear that it was becoming a phenomenon. By the time we were making the first film the third book had come out and they were one, two and three on the New York Times bestseller list, so we knew we were part of something special. But even then, when we had the opening weekend of the first film and all the box office receipts were tallied, it was a complete surprise. And, of course, it set a very high bar that we have to meet now.”

Taylor Triphook, 11, has been chosen to act in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

But Warner Bros are keeping his role a secret – he won’t find out more about his character until he starts filming in September.

Taylor said: “I can’t wait to see and take part in such a huge film with so many famous actors.

Taylor found out about the role last Friday and his parents immediately arranged for him to have time off from St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School, in Grays, for filming.

I just wanted to let everyone know that over the next few days/weeks the site will be undergoing changes. I just started with the navigation now, reordered it. And next I am going to make the layouts more interesting if I can figure it out.

I just spoke to one of my friends from the United Kingdom. She told me that she went to the open auditions for Lavendar Brown, so I asked if I could interview her about her experience. And she said yes! So thank you very much Natalie!

Megan: What was the best part about going to the audition?
Nat: Er…the experience and getting to meet the casting people of Harry Potter. The whole vibe there was amazing. Everyone would look you up and down as you passed and you could tell they were thinking “Ooh could she get the part? “. But yeah, the casting people were awsome, very polite and supportive. You know, these are the people who have casted all the characters so far. I’m just glad I got to be there.
