The dog that plays Hagrid’s dog Fang in the Harry Potter films has been inducted into the Dog Walk of Fame!  The other dogs inducted were:

• Bullseye (Oliver!)
• Lassie (Lassie Come Home)
• Toto (The Wizard of Oz)
• Bobby (Greyfriars Bobby, The True Story of a Dog)
• Gromit (Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit)
• Chance & Shadow (Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey)

Each dog on the list will be commemorated with a plaque and bench at the heart of Battersea Park, around the famous bandstand. Dogs will be inducted into the hall of fame on an annual basis and will be selected from all genres and eras of film history.

Congrats Fang! (and all the other doggies =D )

Today is Josh Herdman’s 20th birthday! Josh plays Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter films!

This year’s London Film and Comic Con will be held this weekend and some HarryPotter stars will be attending. Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), Harry Melling (Dudley) , Hugh Mitchell (Colin), and Emily Dale (Katie Bell) will be there..

Also, Matthew Lewis and James and Oliver Phelps will be at this year’s Dragon*Con, later today on the 31st of August in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tom Felton (Draco), Devon Murray (Seamus) and Jamie Waylett (Crabbe) where at the Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado to participate in ‘There With Care,’ a pre-screening charitable event of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Fiona Shaw, Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter movies, celebrates her 49th birthday today. Fiona Shaw was born in County Cork, Ireland on July 10, 1958. She is famous for her stage work and received an Award for her performance in Medea in 2001.

Happy Birthday to both of them!
