The Scotsman has released their annual list of the most eligible or “hottest” Scots, and at the top of the list are Katie Leung and David Tennant from the Harry Potter films.  Katie is number one for women and David for men.

The 20-year-old Harry Potter film star, who plays the boy wizard’s girlfriend Cho Chang, has topped the list of Scotland’s most eligible women just three weeks after being named the nation’s most stylish female.

According to the judges, Smeato, 31, who still lives at home with his parents, can only be beaten as a prize catch by Dr Who star David Tennant and tennis player Jamie Murray.

Congrats Katie and David!

In an audio interview Katie Leung confirms that she will be back for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! She says, “I’ve got Harry Potter in January and I don’t start shooting ’til then.”

Harry Potter actress Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang in the films, has won Most Stylish Female in the Scottish Style Awards!

Miss Leung, 20, from Glasgow, beat off competitors including Ugly Betty star Ashley Jensen, Laura Fraser, star of The Flying Scotsman and 16 Years of Alcohol, Hannah McGill, director of the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and artist Gay Grossart.

Miss Leung has appeared in a music video and is being courted by fashion houses.

Harry Potter actress Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang in the films, has launched an art contest for Edinburgh and the Lothians.  A sketch she has done will be auctioned on November 28th.

The Scottish actress, who plays Cho Chang, made the call today for pupils from Edinburgh and the Lothians to paint a picture, draw a sketch or create a doodle on the topic of “who cares”.

Katie, 20, said: “I really hope the children’s art competition proves to be a success and schools across Scotland will get involved.”
