According to the Watford Observer Evanna and Katie will be doing an autograph signing:

Two cast members from the fifth Harry Potter film will visit Tesco Extra, Watford, on Saturday, July 14.

Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang, and Evanna Lynch, who play Luna Lovegood, will be singing autographs between 1pm and 3pm.

A host of other activities inspired by the world’s most famous wizard will take place at the store in Lower High Street, Watford, from 11am to 5pm.

There is a new interview (you can also click Read More to see the interview) out with Harry Potter actress Katie Leung in the Scotsman.

The experience of the two films – not just acting but touring the world to promote the movies – has boosted Leung’s confidence, and facing the press and meeting fans has made her more outgoing. “If you’d met me before, I was unbelievably shy at school,” she says. “You always get that one person who can go through a whole week without talking to anyone and that was me, sitting in the corner all by myself. It’s pretty sad really. It got to the extent where I would be too scared to ask for help if I was stuck in class. I was that kind of girl. But doing this film has definitely brought out my confidence.”

Later, she adds: “My favourite thing about playing Cho was being able to be popular. She’s popular among the boys and the girls and, um, that’s not something that happens in real life.”

First Interview

Katie:
Did they make a big thing of it[the kiss] on the set?
Yes. They were reminding me about it every five minutes, which didn’t help at all because I was nervous. But when the time actually came it wasn’t so bad. It took about 20 takes to get it right. But that’s pretty standard for any scene. Though it is a bit odd when you’re trying to concentrate on kissing and there’s a cameraman moving around you.

Evanna:
I think I am like Luna, but not as much as everyone thinks I am. She’s not as determined as I am. She wouldn’t have chased the part in the film the way I did. But we both believe in things that don’t have to have facts to back them up.

Second Interview

Bonnie:
It’s been more fun doing this film as Ginny’s character’s developed. The six of us go through to the Ministry of Magic and it was really interesting to be a part of. Ginny’s a bit more confident – I have definitely enjoyed that.

Q: Do you think Neville’s going to die?
A: A lot of people have come up to me and said, you’re going to die mate’. Cheers! But I like to think he’ll be there fighting to the end. If he does die, I’d like it to be really heroic, saving someone else’s life.
