JKR on World Rich List

JK Rowling is number 891 on Forbes: The World’s Billionaires(along with many others in the same spot). She has a net worth of One Billion Dollars at the age of 41! She is the only author on the list.

Number one on the list is of course Bill Gates with a net worth of 56 billion.

JK Rowling has been selected as a finalist in NCH Scotland Woman of Influence for 2007. She is among these other women:

Catherine Lockerbie, Director Edinburgh International Book Festival

NCH Scotland is one of the leading children’s charities in Scotland. [They] support over 6475 of the most vulnerable children, young people and their families at 64 projects across Scotland so that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential. All money raised in Scotland stays in Scotland.
