ComingSoon finally has the official announcement from EA and WB about the Half-Blood Prince video game.
Electronic Arts Inc and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today confirmed that the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” video game will be released globally Summer 2009, alongside the Warner Bros. Pictures’ film based on J.K. Rowling’s sixth Harry Potter book.
Tonight there was a secret test screening of Half-Blood Prince in Chicago and thanks to Leaky we have a detailed report of the movie!!!!! I will post it under More, so if you don’t want movie spoilers DO NOT click More, ha ha.
It sounds pretty good, with some annoying things. So mad we don’t get t until the summer still.

There is now a scan of the Teen Magazine article I mentioned earlier today thanks to ICM! There is a new picture of Harry in the scan! And also one of Ron in his Quidditch Gear.
Alec Hopkins, who played Young Snape in Ootp, has confirmed that he will be back to reprise his role in Half-Blood Prince. He says his scenes are mostly him being part of moving photos. He also mentioned how he was disappointed at having his scenes cut down in Order of the Phoenix.
Ralph Fiennes spoke about his role as Lord Voldemort in Half-Blood Prince at the London premiere of his new movie, The Duchess. He confirmed that he is in the film.
Talking about the forthcoming Harry Potter film, The Half-Blood Prince, in which he stars, Fiennes said: “I haven’t seen it yet so I’m not sure if it’s scarier than the others.”
