EA Games announced today that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game release will coincide with that of the HBP movie. The game will be released on Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PS2, PSP, DS, PC, mac and mobile devices.

We believe that the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince video game represents a milestone in the movie tie-in genre. Building on the technological advancements of previous games in the series and with a particular focus on the unique control system of Nintendo’s Wii, the team here is working closely with the filmmakers to create an immersive interactive experience that captures the story, the action, the excitement and, above all, the fun of the film.

The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie will be released released on November 21, 2008.

Some pictures have appeared online that are supposedly of Helen McCrory as Narcissa Malfoy!  She was apparently filming scenes with Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix).  They were walking down a street in heavy black cloaks, which I can only assume is from the second Chapter of Half-Blood Prince (one of my favorites in the book)!

London Taxi Tour is reporting that new sets are being built for Half-Blood Prince outside Leavesden Studios.

New for April 2008 is an update on the filming taking place at Leavesden Studios for Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince. We know they have filmed Dumbledore’s death and the Quidditch has also been filmed, which might explain why the cranes are now gone. We also know that the Malfoy’s house is under construction.

Thanks to hbpmoviepics we have a link to a new set report for HBP!!  A fan won a chance to visit the Half-Blood Prince set and posted about it on Amortentia. Unfortunatley it is all in Spanish. But you can click MORE to read it if you know spanish.
