In addition to the photo of Newt Scamander featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, EW has released some more behind the scenes photos from the set of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! You can view all the photos in our gallery!
In the cover image, we got a first look at Scamander, his pivotal briefcase in hand, standing inside the entrance of the majestic art deco-influenced Magical Congress of the United States of America (or MACUSA), which is the American version of the Ministry of Magic that’s housed inside the Woolworth Building in the film.
These new photos show Katherine Waterston as Porpentina “Tina” Goldstein, Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Alison Sudol and Queenie Goldstein, and Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski in various locations.
Entertainment Weekly have released a preview of their next issue which includes the first ever look at Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starring Eddie Redmayne. Good Morning America also revealed an inner page of the issue (Thanks to fbawtftfilms on Twitter.) You can see both photos in the gallery! In their little teaser for the feature EW says:

Some very exciting news for Potter fans today! The first is: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them films have their own twitter account. You can follow @FantasticBeasts for news related to the upcoming films! Secondly, the new Twitter account revealed the logo for the film. The logo says: From J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
They have also unveiled the website for the films: fantasticbeasts.com. For now the site just has their social links as well as “November 2016.” We assume the full website will be up soon. You can follow them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
The first film in the series will be released on November 18th 2016.
The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively revealed three more cast members for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. According to their report:
Gemma Chan, who stars in USA’s sci-fi thriller Humans, Selma actress Carmen Ejogo and Jon Voight have joined the cast of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Warner Bros.’s fantasy set in the world of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter.
No information about who the actors will be portraying has been released as of yet. We will be sure to keep you updated with any developments!

In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne talked briefly about his upcoming performance as Newt Scamander in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
“Like many people, I read those books, I watched those films, and became completely intoxicated by J.K. Rowling’s world,” said the British actor and Oscar-winner. “The idea of getting to tiptoe into it felt truly exciting. I hope it’s going to be quite a ride.”
While Redmayne was happy to discuss his excitement about the project he declined to elaborate further about the film itself, which is scheduled to arrive in theaters on Nov. 18, 2016. “I’m allowed to say absolutely nothing!” he explained.
