The 2 minute and 13 second clip contains a few new shots from the film as well as narration by J.K. Rowling and some snippets from Eddie Redmayne, who plays New in the film.

This morning a new poster for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has been released! The poster can be viewed in high resolution in the gallery. The social accounts for the film also teased that we’ll be getting some new information (maybe a clip or trailer?!) soon:
A new piece of art to celebrate a new era of the Wizarding World! And stay tuned because something FANTASTIC at #vidcon2016 is being announced soon… #FantasticBeasts
In a new interview with ComingSoon, Colin Farrel talks about his experience working on the first Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film as well as the possibility of returning for the sequels. The first film will be released on November 18, 2016.
You’ve got “Fantastic Beasts” coming out. Have you seen any of it? Colin Farrell: Nothing. Just the trailer.
Are you already lined up for Part 2? Farrell: No, I don’t know what’s happening. As far as I knew it’s standalone. I don’t know what their intentions are.
From what I’ve heard the intention is to do another one two years later and then Part 3 two years after that. Farrell: Oh really? Yeah, I’d be surprised if they didn’t. (laughs)
But you’re only signed for one movie? Farrell: Jeez, I can’t even think straight now. Not quite sure. I’ll text David Yates and find out.
You’ve done your fair share of franchise roles. Does this feel like the most “sure thing” you’ve ever done? Farrell: I mean you put that theme music up and J.K. Rowling and welcome back to a world of magic… It’s part of the Harry Potter universe. There’s no sure things. There are sometimes things that are surprise successes and there are things that were designed purely for box office success that don’t work. This would be as sure a thing as possible but there are no sure things.
It was a good experience, though? Farrell: I loved it, yeah! I had fun doing it.
Working with Eddie. Farrell: Yeah, he was great, Eddie and Ezra. David Yates is an extraordinary man and filmmaker who kinda feels like a protector of the kingdom. He’s so well-versed in the mythology of that world and has a deep affinity for the characters and the lore of it. He was great to be around.
Pottermore has announced this morning that J.K. Rowling’s screenplay for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be published this coming November to tie in with the film’s release. Fans will recall that a similar strategy has been used for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child with the play’s script being released in book form this July.
[…] this year will mark the first time the author has published a screenplay, which you’ll be able to buy as a print edition from Little, Brown (UK) or Scholastic (US and Canada), or as an eBook [on] Pottermore.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them follows the exploits of magizoologist Newt Scamander in 1920s New York, and the screenplay will be published on 19 November – hot on the heels of the movie’s release on 18 November (as if you don’t have that date in your calendar already!)
UPDATE: The videos have since been removed, probably due to containing major plot points so we have replaced the Dan video with a transcript (thanks to SS)
Dan Fogler and Eddie Redmayne were interviewed at CinemaCon earlier this month and both discussed Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Dan gives a lot more detail about the plot of the film and how his character Jacob and Newt meet/become friends.
I play Jacob, just a regular guy back from [World War I], in Fantastic Beasts.
[J.K. Rowling] writes this story about Newt coming to New York to buy a gift, and he has this case, which is essentially a zoo full of these creatures that he’s collected over the years.
He and I literally bump into each other, our cases get switched up. I open my case, thinking that inside are gonna be pastries, and it’s actually an entire zoo of magical creatures that comes stampeding out. One of them bites me.
Newt, who’s more of a misanthropic character and closer to the animals than he is to humans, he feels responsible for me. He doesn’t want me to die because of this bite, so he takes me along and tries to heal me as we collect all these creatures in the city. Over the course of that, he and I become friends. It’s like Sherlock and Watson, the origin story.
In the video below Eddie and Colin Farrell briefly talk about the film.
