JKR Talks DH Chapters!
Posted by Megs

A fan who went to JKRs moonlight singing has talked about her experience and how it was to meet Jo.

There was no press at the Q&A so I will tell you that the 34th chapter made her cry, she almost named the book after the 32nd chapter, her favorite character is undoubtedly Harry, and her least favorite character is Uncle Vernon because he has no redeeming qualities. All of this info came right from her mouth to my ears.

Thanks Snitch Seeker and Nick!!

JKR Interview with GREAT news
Posted by Megs

There is a small preview article of JKR on the Today where she talks about the book, the character that got a reprieve and writing an encylcopedia. She had this to say about the encylcopedia:

The encyclopedia would include back stories of characters she has already written but had to cut for the sake of narrative arc (“I’ve said before that Dean Thomas had a much more interesting history than ever appeared in the books”), as well as details about the characters who survive “Deathly Hallows,” characters who continue to live on in Rowling’s mind in a clearly defined magical world.

It’s now time to sit back for a bit and enjoy the life that Harry has given her, Rowling said. And, when she’s ready, there’s always that encyclopedia waiting in the wings.

“I’m not going to do it tomorrow because I’d really like a break,” Rowling said, laughing. “So you may be waiting.”

There are spoilers, but, read the full interview HERE or click Read More!

Deathly Hallows Promotional stuff
Posted by Megs

Today my best friend and I went to the mall and I decided that I would ask in Borders if I could have any of their Deathly Hallows promotional stuff….and……THEY SAID YES!!!!
So I got the countdown stand that borders showed with Snape, Friend or Foe on it (the one in my picture on the webmaster page). I also have a lot of the little bookmark things they had with it too! And I am going to get one of the HUGE posters they had hanging up when they take it down.
My friend and I had a hard time getting it home though, we had to put it in her trunk and it didnt fit so her trunk was open and we were so scared it was going to fall out. So thanks Hayley for getting it home safe! I love you!!!
Did anyone else get any DH Promotional stuff? If so, what did you get(just put it in the comments)!
So if you live anywhere where they have DH promotional stuff ASK if you can have something. You will have a piece of history!

I Finished Deathly Hallows!
Posted by Megs

(Dont worry, no spoilers)

Well as I posted the other day I had a family reunion yesterday. But as soon as we pulled in the driveway at 7:30 I bolted to the mailbox to get my two Amazon boxes containing my Regular and Deluxe Deathly Hallows books! I then proceeded to run to my room and get ready to read. I started reading at 7:46 pm and finished at 7:24 this morning. I only took a few breaks for food or to use the facilities. Ha ha. So my time for reading the book was:

10 HOURS 44 MINUTES and 17 SECONDS

It is my favorite book out of the whole series. On one hand I am happy I read it and know how the story ends, but they other I am sad that there won’t be any more books.  But the no more books hasnt fully sunk in, so I can’t see thestrals yet. : p

I hope you all enjoy/enjoyed the book as much as I did!
