According to The Press Association John Hurt, who plays Ollivander in the Potter films will be receiving a Fellowship from the British Film Institute.

will receive the tribute recognising his outstanding contribution to film culture at the London Film Festival, where his latest movies 44 Inch Chest and The Limits Of Control will be premiering.

“For me, the BFI is the heart of British cinema – I consider it the highest honour possible to be awarded a Fellowship,” he said.

The Times BFI 53rd London Film Festival runs from October 14 to 29.
