Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to be in a Martin McDonagh play entitled “The Cripple of Inishmaan.” It is a coming of age story and Daniel will be playing the main character, Cripple Billy, an orphan who enlists a small community of Islanders to help him move from his remote hometown to Hollywood. The play will run from June 8 to August 31, 2013.
The play will be presented at the Noel Coward Theatre in London, as part of a run of five shows that the Michael Grandage Company will produce. The series is being directed by Michael Grandage and Dame Judi Dench and Jude Law will also be participating in their own plays.
