The LA Times has a new interview with Daniel Radcliffe from a recent visit to the Deathly Hallows set.  He mentions he does not want to be in the Hobbit as Bilbo Baggins (good! not that I don’t love Dan but he doesn’t seem like Bilbo to me).

“I’d have to say, ‘Thanks but no thanks,’ not that anyone has asked me,” the 20-year-old actor told me last week in England. “Honestly, I don’t think they would want me anyway, it’s just too close. Whatever I do next, I don’t think there will be any wizards in it!”

“James McAvoy is fantastic. I think he should play it. I’ve done the fantasy-film thing. Actually, so has he, with the ‘Chronicles of Narnia,’ of course. But I’ve done it for longer. He can take over. I’m done. I don’t think anybody involved in that would want me to, either.” [Note from Meg: I prefer James as well, Dan]

As you can probably tell I am a Lord of the Rings fan, more the movies than the books but I have read them all and The Hobbit.

(also I am aware of the new HBP promos but as I am not on my own computer I can’t add them to the gallery just yet!)
