Hot Butterbeer has officially arrived at “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” at Universal Studios Hollywood! Hot Butterbeer will be offered seasonally at Three Broomsticks. This treat has been a huge hit at Universal Orlando Resort so fans in California are sure to enjoy! The full press release may be read below:
Delightful, delicious and hot. Three wonderful words that describe hot Butterbeer™, the newest addition that will be offered seasonally at Three Broomsticks™ at “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™” at Universal Studios Hollywood™.
Like its traditional and frozen counterparts, hot Butterbeer is reminiscent of butterscotch and shortbread that’s been perfectly fine-tuned as a Hogsmeade treat.
Three Broomsticks, an aged rustic tavern, caters to guests with an array of authentic British breakfast, lunchtime and dinner fare while they are seated at custom-made wooden tables, chairs and benches in a warm and inviting atmosphere inspired by the Harry Potter books and films.
The eclectic menu offers such tasty staples as Bangers & Mash (savory grilled English sausages with creamy mashed potatoes and minted peas), Shepherd’s Pie (ground beef and vegetables, crowned with a crust of mashed potatoes), Beef Sunday Roast (prime rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and gravy), Beef, Lamb & Guinness Stew, and Fish & Chips. In addition to Butterbeer Potted Cream, Sticky Toffee Pudding rounds out the hearty British fare.
Scrumptious traditional English breakfast items invite guests to start their day at “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” including the Eggy Bread breakfast (freshly baked baguette dipped in a cinnamon egg batter and lightly sautéed, sprinkled with powder sugar and served with bacon, strawberries and real maple syrup.), as well as traditional English breakfast (fresh scrambled eggs, sausage links, bacon, baked beans, baked tomato, and potatoes) and traditional American breakfast (fresh scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and link sausage with butter croissant).
Gathering inspiration from historic British taverns, the adjoining Hog’s Head pub features original draught beers and spirits created exclusively for the land, including Hog’s Head Brew, Dragon’s Scale, Wizard’s Brew and Fire Whiskey. Also available are Pumpkin Fizz and Gilly Water and the three Butterbeer choices: traditional, frozen and hot.

This week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly features our first real look at Emma Watson in Beauty and the Beast. The issue contains a bunch of photos of Watson as Belle and behind the scenes information. Emma is shown in Belle’s iconic yellow dress on the cover of the issue, available on newsstands this Friday!
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Emma Watson who really, really, really loved Disney’s 1991 animated classic, Beauty and the Beast. “I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child,” says the former Harry Potter star. “I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.”
Watson was hardly the only person to become obsessed with this songs-filled tale of a self-possessed young woman named Belle and a prince-turned-beast who must find his true love before the final petal falls from an enchanted rose. Beauty and the Beast was the third-highest-grossing film of 1991 and the first animated feature ever nominated for a best picture Oscar. While the film lost out in that category to the slightly less romantic Silence of the Lambs, it did win Academy Awards for best score and best song. Beauty and the Beast also inspired a stage musical, which ran on Broadway for 13 years.
EW has posted a video introducing the newest issue:
Variety is reporting that Holliday Grainger has been cast as Robin Ellacott in The Strike Series that will be airing on BBC and HBO. Holliday will star alongside Tom Burke as Cormoran Strike. Fans may know her as one of the step-sisters in Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella, Bonnie in Bonnie & Clyde and more.
Of the casting, Grainger says: “I’m thrilled to be joining the talented creative team behind ‘The Strike Series,’ especially with the role of Robin Ellacott. Her grounded strength and intelligence is going to be a joy to explore. I can’t wait to dive straight into the wit and grit of Strike’s cannily well-observed London.”
Rowling also commented by saying, “I couldn’t be more delighted about the casting of Holliday Grainger, who brought my Robin to perfect onscreen life during her audition. We’ve now secured two superb actors in the lead roles and I think they will create something very special together.”
Mike Fleming Jr of Deadline has confirmed that Johnny Depp will be co-starring in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He also teases that we may see Johnny briefly in the first film. Grindlewald or Young Dumbledore, perhaps? (Hopefully not Dumbledore, even though Albus has his quirks, Johnny is may be a bit too eccentric for the role.)
It has also been confirmed by director David Yates that the sequel will take place in Paris, France. The second movie in the five part series will begin filming next year.
Don’t forget to get your tickets to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them ahead of it’s release on November 18th!
