A Youtube user has uploaded a preview of the Maximum Movie Mode that will be on the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II BluRay.  Matthew Lewis is the main host of this feature but in this clip Jessie Cave takes the reigns.

Potter Creative Team to Recieve Cinematic Imagery Award

Variety reports that the Harry Potter creative team will be receiving the Cinematic Imagery Award at ADG’s 16th Annual Excellence in Production Design Awards on February 4th. The creative team consists of J.K. Rowling, producers David Heyman and David Barron, director David Yates, screenwriter Steve Kloves, art director Neil Lamont, production designer Stuart Craig and set decorator Stephenie McMillan.

“Their phenomenal success is due to a unity of vision and the masterful wizardry of the franchise’s creator, producers, screenwriter and art direction family,” said ADG President Thomas A. Walsh.This is the first time the ADG has given this award to a film series.

Daniel Radcliffe to Perform at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Daniel Radcliffe, and his How to Succeed costars, will be performing at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 24th!  A video will most likely appear online shortly after the telecast and I will get it on the site as soon as possible.

On board to add an extra dose of star power are exclusive performances from some of the hottest Broadway shows including Daniel Radcliffe and the cast of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying

The 85th Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade will step-off this year at 77th Street and Central Park West. The procession will travel down to Columbus Circle, turn onto Central Park South before making a right turn to march down 7th Avenue to 42nd Street. The Parade will then turn east towards 6th Avenue where it will march down the Avenue of the Americas. At 34th Street, the parade will make its final turn west marching in front of Macy’s Herald Square. The Parade will begin promptly at 9 a.m. and end at Noon.

WB Supports Cast and Crew for Oscar Nominations

Warner Bros. have put up a For Your Consideration page for the upcoming awards season [specially the Academy Awards] where they list various cast and crew members of the Potter films and what awards they should be in consideration for. This page also includes a short trailer where they list some review quotes.

A couple more new videos from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II DVD have been released. The first comes from Marie Claire UK and shows a clip from The Women of Harry Potter feature where Bonnie Wright and J.K. Rowling talk about McGonagall.

The second is another clip from Harry Potter: The Quest; it goes behind the scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Parts I and II. In this video Warwick Davis takes us on a tour through Leavesden Studios.

Deathly Hallows 2 Showing at Select AMC Theatres This Weekend

Today AMC Theatres have announced that they will be having special Encore Presentations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II this weekend to benefit the Will Rogers Institute.

 On November 5 & 6, select AMC theatres will hold three showings of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 3D to support the Will Rogers Institute. For only $5, you can witness the end of one of the best cinematic series in history as intended once again: in 3D.
