Today we have been sent the trailer for the first book in the Trylle Trilogy book series, Switched, which will be released on January 5th 2012 in the UK. The Trylle Trilogy was written by the self-publishing phenomenon Amanda Hocking whose eBook series took the internet by storm in April 2010. The previously unpublished author now boasts over a million online sales. The Trylle Trilogy will be published for the first time in print the UK in 2012, beginning with Switched which hits shelves on January 5th.
The description of the book is as follows:
Switched introduces the reader to Wendy Everly. She first knew she was different the day her mother tried to kill her, accusing her of having been switched at birth. Although she’s certain she’s not the monster her mother claims she is, there is a secret she keeps from everyone. Her mysterious ability to influence people’s decisions, without knowing how, or why.
When handsome newcomer Finn turns up at her window, her world is turned upside down. He holds the key to her past and is the doorway to a place she never imagined could exist…

The Warner Bros. Studio Tour London: The Making of Harry Potter twitter account has revealed one of the sets fans will be able to visit at the upcoming tour (opening in March, see the countdown at the top of the site!) They say, “The @MayorOfLondon has officially revealed that you’ll be able to step onto the famous cobbles of #DiagonAlley” See the photo in high resolution in the gallery!
WB have also sent over a press release for the announcement that you may read here! The press release also reveals that the hours of the tour have been adjusted due to high demand, “opening hours for Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter have been extended to 18:00, from the previous booking time of 16:00, on every weekend, bank holiday and school holiday from 28th April.”
Production Designer, Stuart Craig, whose work on the Harry Potter film series has garnered him both Academy Award and six BAFTA nominations (winning the BAFTA Award for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) says, “Diagon Alley is (along with Dumbledore’s office) my favourite set. It has a long history with many changes. It was first built for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and then part of it used for Hogsmeade High Street in Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban! Then it was taken down and later rebuilt for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince with the inclusion of the Weasley Wizard Wheezes joke shop and then finally wrecked when Ollivanders wand shop was blown up. And so I am delighted that it has finally found a home in the Studio Tour for all to enjoy.”

“This is incredible, it’s been a long time coming and I’m very excited.” says Emma Watson.

As we posted many months ago, Freddie Stroma (Cormac McLaggen) starred in the direct to DVD movie, A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song. The film was released back in September and it will be making its television debut on January 22nd on ABC Family. For those of you that need a refresher here is the film’s description:
Cyrano De Bergerac meets Cinderella. Over-worked, harried and terrified of being put back in foster care, 17 year old Katie (Lucy Hale) does her stepmother and step-siblings’ bidding without complaining. Vocally gifted, Katie feels particularly upset when forced to lay down singing tracks so that her untalented stepsister, Bev Van Ravensway, can hopefully win a recording contract from Massive Records – who’s company President, Harvey Morgan, is scouting for new spectacular talent at a talent showcase for the Performing Arts Department at a prestigious private school.
