Well I figured that since it is now September 22nd in the United Kingdom I would wish Tom Felton a very happy birthday! Tom plays Draco in the Harry Potter films and is turning 21!
There are now videos online of Tom playing Soccer for the Charity match. Watch one below and click more for all of them.
According to Feltbeats “The game is now over, and England won! Tom only got to play the last 18 mins or so, but he did REALLY WELL. He is a super fast runner, and actually got to kick the ball and battle it out with other players a few times. Once, he got tripped (Feltbeats.com believes it was deliberate on behalf of the other player!) and fell. But Tom, we couldn’t be MORE PROUD of you, and we’re all bigger fans now than ever!”
Tickets for the match are still available, right here. You can also click HERE for more information. It will be broadcast live from on ITV1 at 6pm local time.
“I feel slightly under pressure. When we’re in the studios there’s kids coming around all day. It’s not so bad for me as Draco because he’s a bad character, but there are these kids that look up to the cast. There’s definitely a feeling that you need to keep things under your hat.” There’s also the pride of working for Warner Bros. We don’t want to make an a**e of ourselves and demoralise the producers.”
Speaking about his career plans beyond Potter, Felton said: “Mark my words, if you see me in two years stacking shelves in Tesco, I wouldn’t be surprised. There’s a mixture of relief and disappointment. It’s a relief because the end is in sight, but equally terrifying is that I don’t know what I’m going to do afterwards. I’ve no idea.”
