I was just watching Semi-Homemade Cooking and Sandra Lee made Butterbeer! Unfortunatley I didn’t know she was going to make this beforehand so I couldn’t catch it on tape.

Butterbeer

• 1/4 cup sweetened condensed  milk
• 1/4 cup butterscotch topping 
• 2 tablespoons whipped butter, room temperature 
• 1 1/2 cups vanilla cream soda

Combine condensed milk, butterscotch topping, and butter in a glass heatproof measuring cup. Heat in microwave for 1 minute. Remove and stir until butter has melted and incorporated into mixture. Meanwhile heat cream soda in another heatproof measuring cup for 1 minute 30 seconds.

Divide butterscotch mixture between 2 (10 to 12-ounce) mugs. Fill mugs with heated cream soda and stir thoroughly. Serve garnished with an old-fashioned butterscotch candy stick.

    The Becker Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products announced that they will be having a Harry Potter: The Exhibition.  An exhibition highlighting artifacts from the Harry Potter movies.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition will include elaborate displays of authentic costumes, props and artifacts from popular environments featured in the films such as those from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, including the Gryffindor common room and Hagrid’s hut. During its run, the exhibit will also be updated to include artifacts from the final installments of the Harry Potter film series. The exhibition will be displayed in major cultural and entertainment venues, museums and institutions, and will be supported by a multimedia promotional effort and advance ticket sales worldwide. Jim Dale has won a grammy in the “Best Spoken Word Album for Children” category for the U.S. audiobook version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Jim had also won a Grammy in 2000 for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Just a reminder to everyone that Food Network’s Ace of Cakes will premiere tonight (Thursday) at 10:30 PM EST. As you may recall, this episode will take a look at how a Hogwarts Castle cake was created for the July Order of the Phoenix LA after party.
