Helena Bonham Carter Interview
Posted by Megs

Thanks to Helena World we have a transcript of an interview with Helena Bonham Carter from the Sweeney Todd Press Conference.

Question: They are shooting ‘Harry Potter’ now. What is happening with Bellatrix?
CARTER: Well, hopefully in February I will have lost weight. She appears then and I’ve got some nice scenes with Alan Rickman.
Question: It’s book seven, so its a big one for her, I guess?
CARTER:
Is seven the last one?
Question: Yeah.
CARTER: Yeah, I’ve got more stuff to do in that one.
Question: Have you read it?
CARTER:
Yeah, of course I did. I was thinking ‘How big of a part do I have here?’ [Laughs]

Alan and Helena Interview
Posted by Megs

IESB has a new interview online including Alan Rickman (Professor Snape in Harry Potter) and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange in Harrt Potter).  There is mature content in this interview so parents be cautioned.

Although reticent to discuss Harry Potter, Alan Rickman laughed about the recent rumor of a JK Rowling inspired musical; “who is shoving that around?” He further informed the IESB that there is an online porn version of the franchise making the rounds. (Harry Pooter is my vote for the title)

Helena also has some big projects in store, she is due to have her second child with partner Tim Burton in two weeks time and said she’ll be “breast feeding in time for the filming of Harry Potter 6 in February 2008.”

When asked about the HP franchise she commented, “it’s made me very popular with kids although they all seem to be scared of me.”

IESB also has lots of clips from Sweeney Todd, that you can see HERE! The film, which has been rated “R” contains mature subject matter with violence, and is not suitable for young children.

Helena Back For Half-Blood Prince
Posted by Megs

Helena Bonham Carter, Bellatrix Lestrange in the Potter films, will be back for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince! She. however, won’t start filming until Spring 2008, probably because she is PREGNANT(Congrats)!

She is cast again for the sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, scheduled to begin filming in two months for a November 2008 release. Her publicist said yesterday that Bonham Carter was not due back on the Potter set until the spring.

Thanks Mugglenet!

Sweeney Todd Release Date
Posted by Megs

Playbill has announced that the movie Sweeney Todd will be released on December 21st. Harry Potter stars Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, and Timothy Spall are in this movie. Here is the film synopsis:

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton join forces again in a big-screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s award-winning musical thriller ‘Sweeney Todd.’ Depp stars in the title role as a man unjustly sent to prison who vows revenge, not only for that cruel punishment, but for the devastating consequences of what happened to his wife and daughter. When he returns to reopen his barber shop, Sweeney Todd becomes the Demon Barber of Fleet Street who ‘shaved the heads of gentlemen who never thereafter were heard from again.’ Joining Depp is Helena Bonham Carter as Mrs. Lovett, Sweeney’s amorous accomplice, who creates diabolical meat pies. The cast also includes Alan Rickman, who portrays the evil Judge Turpin, who sends Sweeney to prison and Timothy Spall as the Judge’s wicked associate Beadle Bamford and Sacha Baron Cohen is a rival barber, the flamboyant Signor Adolfo Pirelli.

Thanks Wizard News.
