Emma Watson, Jason Isaacs, Helena Bonham Carter (pre-party only) and Brendan Gleeson attended the BAFTAs held this evening.  Emma presented an award, as you can see below. Before she presented the award Jonathon Ross announced that she has been offered a place at Cambridge universtiy!
Helena Bonham Carter, who plays Bellatrix in the Harry Potter series, has done a new photoshoot for W magazine. I am not sure which issue this will be in but the photos are great.
Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), has been cast in the newest adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland to be directed by her husband Tim Burton. She will play the Red Queen; also in the film are Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska (who plays Alice).
Jonathan Lynn, director of a new movie Wild Target, has updated his official site, stating that Rupert is officially cast in the film as well as Helena Bonham Carter. The film is about “a hitman [who] tries to retire but a beautiful thief may change his plans.”
Jonathan is prepping this new comedy film, to be made in England and the Isle of Man. He starts shooting in London on September 16th, 2008, with Bill Nighy, Helena Bonham Carter and Rupert Grint heading the cast. The screenplay is by playwright Lucinda Coxon, based on the 1993 French film “Cible Emouvante”. The producer is Martin Pope.
Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), has been cast in Warner Bros. forthcoming film Terminator Salvation. Helena says:
“I kind of play a baddie, definitely a baddie,” Bonham Carter said in an interview while promoting her new film, the comedy-drama Sixty Six. “I don’t know how much I’m allowed to say, but I’m a very bad person. Tim [Burton] would have killed me if I hadn’t done it, because he’s such a Terminator fan,” Bonham Carter said, referring to her longtime partner and director on such films as Planet of the Apes. “I’ve been in big movies before, like Apes, and Fight Club was big in a different way, and Charlie [and the Chocolate Factory] and Sweeney Todd were big, but I’ve never been in this kind of big popcorn action movie, a male one, an action one.”
