AMC shows new HBP footage
Posted by Megs

AMC theaters have started playing a Half-Blood Prince sneak peek before some of their films.

New footage included a shot of Slughorn’s head popping out of his armchair disguise. The armchair then unfolded and shrunk into Slughorn. There was also a conversation between Harry and Dumbledore atop the Astronomy Tower, a group of Hogwarts students in the Quidditch stands looking up at the sky (maybe at the Dark Mark?), some funny shots of Lavender hitting on Ron, and new interviews with director David Yates and producer David Heyman.

Thanks MN.

New HBP Photo and Interview!
Posted by Megs

There is a new photo online from half-blood prince where we see Harry and Dumbledore in Slughorn’s house.  See the photo HERE!

There is also a new interview in the LA Times where Dan, Emma and Rupert discuss the film.

Radcliffe said the scene will be a hilarious treat for franchise fans, but not everyone was thrilled during the filming — Rupert Grint, as Ron, had long envied the actors who got to swoop across the screen in the sport that is a sort of flying-broomstick version of lacrosse.

“I found out it was not as much fun to film as I hoped,” said Grint, who was left weary and sore by the mechanized broom handle and had headaches from staring at the giant green screen that provides the backdrop canvas for computer artists to later fill in with crowds and the towering playing field. “It’s going to be more fun to watch than it was to film.”

Thanks for the tip TLC!
