Amazon France has a limited “Prestige edition” collection of Harry Potter DVDs in a special container at the base of a replica of Hogwarts on their website. The set which contains DVDs of all six Harry Potter films, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released on November 16, 2009. The price of this AWESOME collectible (that I would DIE for) is set at $287 (if I converted correctly). It is unknown whether it will be released in the US or anywhere else as of yet.
They also state that the standard, blu-ray and double-dvd will be released on November 18th and November 25th. If you recall the release date for the US was last rumored as December 8th, so who knows which is right! Hopefully we will find out soon.
YAY!! I re-added my photos from the Half-Blood Prince premiere, you can see them here in the gallery! I am so sad that all of the hit counts in the gallery are gone! Everything had like hundreds of views 🙁
Now I just need to finish fixing up the categories and I’m done.
Rising Sun, the special effects company for the films, has released a look at the visual designs used in Half-Blood Prince. They show computer graphics used to digitally alter scenes in the films such as Slughorns house, the Joke Shop, and more!
Draco Malfoy is on CinemaBlends list of 10 Best Summer Movie Villians. He is the “Best All-Grown-Up Villain”. Also on the list are Nero from Star Trek (<3 it), Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds and Charles Muntz from Up!
Played by Tom Felton in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
He’s been relegated to the sidelines for most of the Harry Potter films, but in Half-Blood Prince he step into the lead villain spotlight, skulking around Hogwarts with his secret plan and eventually pointing his wand at the most powerful wizard in the world. It helps that Felton is up to the challenge, and provides Draco with equal amounts of the pathos, rage and fear that Rowling always gave Draco in the books.
