It is also Emma Thompson’s(Professor Trelawney) 48th birthday!!

Emma, Dan and Rupert have all signed on to finish the Harry Potter films! FINALLY!
According to the press release:
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will reprise the roles they have made their own: teen wizards Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, respectively, in Warner Bros. Pictures’ Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final two motion picture adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s best-selling book series. The announcement was made today by Jeff Robinov, President of Production, Warner Bros. Pictures.

This morning HPANA posted that Warner Brothers has said that they are:

extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven.

This does not mean that she has signed but it is still good news!

Emma has donated various Harry Potter items to a charity on ebay called Wild Trout Trust. 100% of the proceeds go to the foundation which  works for the conservation of wild trout in the UK and Ireland through the protection and restoration of habitat.
