The absolute BEST part of DH part 1 was “The Dark Lord Ascending” scene. I love it because it’s so true to the the chapter in the book. I also love just how dark and real the filmmakers made it feel. Both the set/lighting and the overall acting from Voldy and all of the Death Eaters just radiated such a sense of evil. |

The whole movie was totally awesome for sure, but “emotionally” I might have liked the scene best, in which Harry and Hermione are at the place Hermione visited with her parents earlier in her life. It was so intense, the atmosphere, everything. I don’t know, most people might have forgotten about it, I don’t think it’s an important scene, but it makes me sad when Hermione realizes that everything has changed and that if she went there with her parents again, they wouldn’t recognize anything, not even her. |
