Well guys, I’m sorry to say that I won’t be able to update with any more news today. But I have good reason for not being able to update! I am going to the New York City Half-Blood Prince premiere with Geri from HPANA to help her with interviews! So I won’t be back home until after midnight, I might be too excited to sleep so I will update with all the news I have missed when I get back OR you will have to wait until the morning. I probably won’t be able to eat all day, partly because I can’t eat when I am nervous and partly because I wont want to spend $900 on a hot dog in the city. :p
This means that I will have awesome video, and maybe photos, from the premiere once the folks at HPANA do whatever magic they do with the video of me interviewing everyone!
Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are due to be guests all day long on the UK’s BBC Radio 1 Wednesday, July 15th. According to our source:
This special “Harry Potter” day long appearance which will be broadcast from the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Readers Neil and PinkMoosley both report that popular host Edith Bowman and others have announced the Harry Potter day on the radio channel, where Edith will be on set of the final Harry Potter film. Also there is apparently a contest to be held for fans to win a visit to the set, however there are no further details of this yet online; updates to follow when we can!
Earlier I mentioned Emma being on the Today Show, and there is now a video online! The embed for this isn’t working either so you will just have to visit the site to watch!
If the video appears on youtube I will update this post for you all!
CNN has interviewed Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Emma Watson, and director David Yates. You can view a here at the site! (for some reason the embed code isnt working so I can’t post it here.)
Daniel, Emma and Rupert will be on the cover of the next issue of Entertainment weekly, which comes out tomorrow the 10th! They also have a preview of whats inside.
During the production of Half-Blood Prince — the final chapter to be set within Hogwarts School — Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Watson wore their characters’ Gryffindor House robes for the last time. “I was like ‘Burn it!’ Oh my god, to be done with those shoes and that uniform — that was an exciting day,” says Watson. Radcliffe adds, “When you’re 18, one of the worst things to be wearing while trying to chat up a girl on the set is a school uniform. You look like a kid! You’re not going to score dressed like that!”
Production on the Deathly Hallows movies began last February and could stretch well into next year. For Grint and Watson, their hardest scene was (spoiler alert if you’ve never read the books!) a kiss between Ron and Hermione. “I remember being inches away from her lips and thinking, ‘Good lord, this is going to be strange,'” says Grint. Adds Watson: “Rupert is like a brother to me, and our relationship couldn’t be more platonic. So kissing him –- well, it felt like incest, to be honest. But I think it’s going to be very sweet.”
Rupert Grint appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly this morning and talked about Ron and Hermione’s relationship, how he does his hair, and the first line from the rap that got him the role of Ron! You can view it below!
