There is a new photo online from half-blood prince where we see Harry and Dumbledore in Slughorn’s house.  See the photo HERE!

There is also a new interview in the LA Times where Dan, Emma and Rupert discuss the film.

Radcliffe said the scene will be a hilarious treat for franchise fans, but not everyone was thrilled during the filming — Rupert Grint, as Ron, had long envied the actors who got to swoop across the screen in the sport that is a sort of flying-broomstick version of lacrosse.

“I found out it was not as much fun to film as I hoped,” said Grint, who was left weary and sore by the mechanized broom handle and had headaches from staring at the giant green screen that provides the backdrop canvas for computer artists to later fill in with crowds and the towering playing field. “It’s going to be more fun to watch than it was to film.”

Oreo is backing a Family Movies campaign in the UK where they sponsor advance screenings of films.  They will be doing this for  Half-Blood Prince. Go here for more information – no dates have been announced.  I will update when there is more informatio

Ice Cream Man has recently started up a Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign to make sure that Cherrybomb gets the widest possible release around the world.

There are six separate petitions targeting the U.S., the U.K., Germany, France, Italy and Brazil. This is based off of statistics we gathered that show a large amount of people in these areas who have either viewed the Cherrybomb trailer, visited ICM or other websites/communities that link Rupert Grint news.

The first thing you need to do is think of all of the social sites, Harry Potter sites, or fan communities that you can link the petition to. Remember that if you are from Brazil for example, then you are seeking signatures from Brazilian celebrity sites or Harry Potter Brazilian communities etc…. If you are an American fan, then you know we have many celebrity sites and blogs who have featured the Cherrybomb trailer — from Entertainment Weekly and Cinema Blend to MTV!

In the future when you look back on the making of this film, what are some funny or strange moments that you’ll remember about the making of it?
GRINT: Getting my bum cast. They were making a chair for the broomstick to make it more comfortable and have my shape. I was wearing these skinny trousers and I had to sit on this chair and they managed the exact shape of my bum. They turned it into a really comfortable chair.

Starting July 1st the US cable channel HBO will begin showing a First Look program about Half-Blood Prince. It will air at 10:45pm ET and will be 13 long. HBO will be showing this throughout the month.  Half Blood Prince will be released July 15th in the US and July 17th in the UK.
