Casting Call Pro UK has listed actors and actresses for roles in Half-Blood Prince:
Teresa Mahoney, has been cast as “Sofie” in “Boardroom – Opening Scene”. This leads us to believe that Half-Blood Prince‘s opening may stay true to the book. Other casting includes a Slytherin Student, a Death Eater, and a Slughorn Ball Graduate.

We have a new rumor today of a release date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II, the movie!
French movie site Allocine has listed Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II to be released May 1, 2011. It is unclear if this release date is only for France, or if it is the slated date for any other countries, including the US and UK. Please regard this as a rumour, especially since the first of May falls on a Sunday, until we hear confirmation from Warner Bros.

If you recall, last year, a court battle where J.K. Rowling lost the privacy rights case involving her son. The case was about the publication of long-lens photographs taken of her son when he was 18 months old in 2004. She appealed the case and won the today. JKR and husband, Dr. Neil Murray, released the following statement:
We understand and accept that with the success of Harry Potter there will be a measure of legitimate media and public interest in Jo’s professional activities and appearances.
However, we have striven to give our children a normal family life outside the media spotlight.
We are immensely grateful to the court for giving our children protection from covert, unauthorised photography; this ruling will make an immediate and material difference to their lives.
