Thanks to HPANA we know that Warner Bros. has officially confirmed the building of an entire “theme park in a theme park” based on the world of Harry Potter, to open at Universal Orlando Resort in early 2010.

UPDATES:

• Official web site coming very soon.
• JK Rowling involved since the very beginning. She has reviewed their plans and been supportive.
• Fan input will be encouraged.
• Specific designs have been ongoing since early this year.
• Park will be aimed at a target audience of ages “7 to 67”.
• “British sensibility” will be obvious in food that is served, how staff interacts with visitors.
• Common Room, Dark Arts classroom, Hogwarts Castle itself, Hogsmeade village to be included.
