The Pottermore website has been updated to reveal two owls sitting on trees. Upon clicking these owls you are taken to an interactive Youtube page which you can see here, a screenshot is below since the video isn’t embedable.

It has now been revealed that the coordinates from earlier today showed us letters that spell out POTTERMORE. This is JK Rowling’s new Harry Potter project, we do not yet know what it means but I have a small hunch: back in 2008 I made a post about WB thinking of starting a MMORPG, the post was as follows:

Warner Bros. is thinking about creating a Massively Multiplayer Role Playing Game (MMORPG) for Harry Potter.

The notion of creating a Harry Potter multi-player online role playing game is something that we’ve been discussing at Warner Bros. for a number of years and continue to explore.We are currently investigating the possibility of creating our own MMORPG, but unfortunately do not have any further details to share at this time.

Following the completion of the seven Harry Potter books and eight films, J.K. Rowling has something new to announce. Even though this is not a new book, we have been informed it is something equally exciting.

As a teaser before the official announcement, ten letters have been hidden on the website below for you to find. To locate them you need to find ten sets of coordinates, enter them into the search box one set at a time, and take a look around.

All the coordinates will be released by Potter fan sites over the next couple of days.  So far three fan sites have given out coordinates, The Leaky CauldronMugglenet and HP Xperts!  I will update this post as more are released.

The young actress who plays Rose Weasley in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II has finally been revealed.  United Agents have updated the page for Helena Barlow to reflect her role in the film.  She has previously been in several stage productions and one film.
