Digital Spy reports that Emma Watson is the covergirl for Company magazine’s September issue! They have posted the cover as well as a few quotes from the article. Click the thumbnail above to see the full cover.
“I have very strong family values and I definitely hope that will be in my future,” she said. “I can’t wait to be a mom and have my own family one day.” Discussing the qualities she looks for in a potential partner, Watson explained: “Hmmm… kindness, good manners, intelligence, confidence and someone who can make me laugh. On a superficial level, I don’t have a ‘type’. You could line up photographs of all the guys I’ve dated and they look totally different. You won’t believe me but it really is more to do with their personalities rather than looks.”
However, the 21-year-old confessed that she needs time to learn to trust people, adding that she can “spot people” only interested in her fame “a mile off”. “It’s easy to figure out who’s who and, generally, I can just tell,” she said. “It took me a year at university to trust anyone properly, but sometimes you have to take a risk because otherwise you’re not really living and that’s pretty sad.”

The Film Society of Lincoln Center website has been updated with the news that My Week With Marilyn will be premiering on October 9 as the Centerpiece of the New York Film Festival at Alice Tully Hall. As fans will recall, Emma Watson plays Lucy in the film; this will be her first post-Potter film to be released, though she filmed last year. A slew of other Harry Potter stars are also in the film including Kenneth Branagh (Lockhart), Toby Jones (Dobby), Geraldine Somerville (Lily Potter) and Zoë Wanamaker (Madame Hooch).
Michelle Williams stars in My Week with Marilyn as Marilyn Monroe, as seen through the diaries of British filmmaker Colin Clark (played by Eddie Redmayne). The film is set in the summer of 1956, during production of The Prince and the Showgirl, in which the young Clark introduced Monroe to British life, providing welcome relief from the pressures of Hollywood.
[I recommend seeing The Prince and the Showgirl if you’ve never seen it before, it’s quite a good movie and it may help enhance the viewing experience when you see My Week with Marilyn]
Film Society members and patrons will have the opportunity to buy advance and discount tickets to the New York Film Festival, if you are a member you can get your tickets by clicking here. Tickets will be on sale to the general public starting September 12.

I haven’t received my verification email yet; has there been a delay in sending these out?
Earlier in the week, there was an issue with Yahoo! Mail and some related services, which meant that some validation emails were taking longer than normal to arrive. This issue has now been resolved. However, we have been unable to deliver validation emails to approximately one in ten of the email addresses supplied to us due to them being mistyped. If you have not received a validation email within 48 hours of submitting your details to Pottermore, you should assume that we have been unable to deliver your validation email to you, and you will need to register again.
