ABC announced yesterday that Cynthia McFadden would be J.K. Rowling’s first US interview to promote her upcoming book, The Casual Vacancy. This exclusive interview will air on “Good Morning America,” (7:00-9:00 a.m., ET) “World News with Diane Sawyer” (6:30 p.m., ET) and “Nightline” (11:35 p.m., ET) on Wednesday, September 26th with additional footage airing Thursday on GMA.
J.K. Rowling, one of the world’s most successful authors, embarks on a new adventure in her first novel in seven years. She invites “Nightline” co-anchor Cynthia McFadden to Scotland for a rare interview and exclusive preview of “The Casual Vacancy.” This is Rowling’s first U.S. network television interview to discuss one of fall’s most anticipated novels. Her bestselling Harry Potter series of seven books has sold over 450 million copies worldwide.

Emma Watson has been making the rounds promoting her new film, The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Thursday morning she was a guest on Live with Kelly and Michael and Thursday night she appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She was also on Anderson Cooper, we will post videos from that appearance soon.
Thanks to LeakyNews we can report that, due to the ticketing “leak,” ALL fans who purchased tickets to JK Rowling’s Chat with Ann Patchett on October 16th will need to repurchase their tickets to account for the seating at the larger location. As we previously reported, the event is now being held at David H. Koch Theater.
Your purchase will be refunded and Lincoln Center will be contacting each person with instructions on how to order new tickets.

If you bought your ticket with a credit card they will call you. If you bought it at the box office with a credit card, they will also call you. If you bought your ticket at the box office using CASH, you have to call THEM. Call 212-258-9800 and indicate you have a ticket and a confirmation and paid cash. DO NOT go down to the theater: call instead.
Oprah Winfrey has released the first photo of Alan Rickman in costume for his role as President Ronald Reagan in The Butler. The film is a true story centered around the life of Eugene Allen, who was a butler at the White House from 1952 to 1986. He served as a butler to eight American presidents and the film takes us through those years.
Forest Whitaker plays Eugene and Oprah plays his wife. Jane Fonda will be playing Nancy Reagan. Other well known stars in the film include Robin Williams as Eisenhower, John Cusack as Richard Nixon and James Marsden as John F. Kennedy.
Warner Bros has released a free demo of the new Harry Potter for Kinect game for Xbox Live users! Harry Potter for Kinect will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360 on October 12th. The preview includes samples of the following mini-games:
Quidditch Match – Seeker
In which players must control a flying broomstick as they attempt to dodge opponents and catch the Golden Snitch during a Quidditch match.
Journey to the Lestrange Vault
In which players must navigate a cart through the dark and dangerous underground caverns of Gringotts bank to reach the vault that houses the Lestrange fortune.
Destroy the Bridge
In which the player must battle Death Eaters while trying to make their way safely across the exploding Hogwarts bridge.

We just got off the phone with the Lincoln Center and have solid answers. We were read aloud an internal e-mail stating that the event will move to the David H. Koch Theater at 20 Lincoln Center. ALL tickets purchased September 9 and 10 WILL be honored. The move to the larger theater is to accommodate the larger-than-planned audience. Obviously, you will not have the same exact seat that’s currently noted on your ticket.
