Feltbeats has posted the second half of that interview I mentioned the other day.
FB: Tell us what you think of Tom’s acting in The Disappeared? JK: I thought that Tom’s acting was exceptional – otherwise I wouldn’t have cast him, Malfoy or not. There were quite a few demanding scenes and Tom delivered each and every time. That’s why I will work with him again and we have also become good friends now.
FB: Describe what it was like working with Tom? JK: It was an immense pleasure to work with Tom – he’s not hard work at all and absolutely no ego – just a really genuine guy who is super talented. We have been talking about working together again in the future, both of us are very keen on the idea.

Scholastic has a new interview with Tom Felton, yay! I really want to post all of it right here because I LOVE Tom, but I will resist.
You’ve posted some music videos on YouTube where you play the guitar and sing. Are those all original songs, and how long have you been writing and performing? I won’t lie. This is the first time an interviewer has asked me about that. […] we just figured the best way to do that was to put it onto YouTube — under an alias, obviously. But it didn’t stay hidden very long, and now it’s very much sort of in the public domain. […], but yeah, they are original songs and obviously not sort of developed by any means but just sort of a little early draft, if you will. Just a bit of fun! But it seems to have a positive response, so I’m enjoying it.
Are there any Draco Malfoy moments from the books that you’re disappointed weren’t included in the movie? No, I wouldn’t think so. I mean, I remember reading the book before and thinking, “Oh, lord! This’ll be fun! I was especially looking forward to the pool in the bathroom and being able to stamp on young Potter’s face on the Hogwarts Express. I was always looking forward to the things of a physical nature. But they all got included, so no let-downs there.
Thanks Leaky!

Feltbeats has a new interview with Johnny Kevorkian who is the director of Tom Felton’s new film, The Disappeared. There are a bunch of new shots of Tom as Simon at the link above.
FB: How did Tom’s experience with the Harry Potter movies impact his role in your movie? JK: I think what Tom brings to the role of Simon from the Harry Potter series really is the experience of years of acting from a young age and being a truly professional actor, this really worked in the films favour.
FB: What is Tom’s biggest scene in the movie? JK: One of the bigger scenes which features Tom was the car wrecking yard scene. It was a long scene with lots of scripted dialogue which we had to cover in just a morning. Normally you would have around a day and a half at least to cover the scene – we had three hours to nail it in.

Feltbeats has confirmed that Tom will now be in Emma of Lulworth Cove. The producer of the film says:
‘We have had word from Tom Felton’s agent this morning and they have accepted our offer and will await the green light. We feel this movie will be a good opportunity for Tom as he’s getting older and needs to think about other roles apart from [Harry Potter] to keep his career on track,” Stokes continued. “We’re very happy to have him and we are more an more convinced he’s make a great Robbie.”
“It is a very demanding part as Robbie appears in virtually every single scene in the film,” Stokes said. “[For example,] we’ll need Tom for 6 weeks filming whereas we’ll need Emma (Sara Paxton) for only three weeks filming.”

FeltBeats.com spoke to Ray Stokes, author and producer of the film “Emma of Lulworth Cove,†which Tom is rumoured to be in. Stokes says that he should be hearing from Tom’s agent any day now.
“I think Tom is perfect for this movie, Tom’s age is right for the part. He is relatively unknown as a romantic lead and this is his chance to make the transition. He has strikingly unusual good looks and could benefit from being a goodie rather a baddy. Tom is British and we wanted a British male lead as, Emma, the female lead (Sara Paxton), is an American. He is sensitive and intelligent enough to do a sensitive and demanding role. We are both excited and very pleased to have Tom.”
More as it comes!! (I personally hope he does it, I love Tom, ha ha)
