Order of the Phoenix is up for SIX Empire Awards! This fifth Harry Potter film is nominated for Best Film, Best Actor for Daniel Radcliffe, Best Actress for Emma Watson, Best Director for David Yaes, Best Sci-fi/fantasy Film, and Best Soundtrack. (poor Rupe not being nominated )

The awards ceremony will take place on March 9th at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, England.

Just a reminder to everyone that Food Network’s Ace of Cakes will premiere tonight (Thursday) at 10:30 PM EST. As you may recall, this episode will take a look at how a Hogwarts Castle cake was created for the July Order of the Phoenix LA after party.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was nominated for an award by the Costume Designers Guild. The costumes created by Jany Temime for Order of the Phoenix received a nomination in the “Fantasy Feature Film” category.

The Costume Designer Guild Awards will be presented on February 19 in Los Angeles, California.

The show featuring the cake will be on Food Network on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 10:30 p.m.

The nominees for the 2008 BAFTA’s Film Awards have been chosed and the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix movie has received two nominations. They are nominated for production design and special visual effects.

The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 10th at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in London.
