Today we have a new behind the scenes video from The Sweet Shop that you can watch below! In the very amusing video, where Matt is given the nickname Matt ‘prima donna’ Lewis he discusses a car he has to sit in while filming a scene.

The Sweet Shop website has been updated with a new photo of Matt and also a new video!  The video is of him and the Sweet Shop producer playing table tennis and the photo is of him and a camera and that can be seen here at Lewis Lovers!

Matthew Lewis has been confirmed for a new movie role, his first one outside of Harry Potter!  It is called The Sweet Shop and filming for the movie will begin in May.  Matt will be playing “The Reporter” who is described as “a clever, devious music journalist, who dogs the footsteps of Jarvis Marshall (Seb Hurtado) in the hunt for the big scoop.”

We don’t have many details about the film as of yet, but as more details are released I will be posting.

SnitchSeeker was able to interview Chris Rankin and Matthew Lewis at the recent Leeds Film Festival about Harry Potter and more! View the videos below and transcripts at the link above.

In a new interview with The Yorkshire Post Chris Rankin talks about the Leeds Film Festival and mentions he will finish filming Deathly Hallows in May.

Chris, 26, told the YEP: “I’ve had a fantastic time and the costumes I’ve seen have been superb. The fans are so passionate and grandparents are here with their grandchildren, enjoying the films as a family, which is fantastic to see.

“The Hyde Park Picture House is a perfect location because it’s like the cinema which time forgot. There’s a real sense of magic here, which makes it a great place to watch something magical like Harry Potter.”

Chris added: “I finish filming mid-May so there’s not long to go. It will be strange and very sad to say goodbye.”
