Emma’s official site was updated yesterday to say that:
Emma has won the Gouden Flip (and parrot!) award for Best Actress at the 2007 awards given by Belgian newspaper ‘Het Nieuwsbald’. ITN has a feature online that has a new video interview with Dan Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermione) and director David Yates and their reactions to Dumbledore being gay. Harper’s Bazaar magazine has released their annual list of the best dressed women in Britain, and coming in at number seven was J.K. Rowling. The Telegraph reports that JKR (“increasingly glamourous”) “is more guarded with her style and earlier this year appeared in a floor-length, peppermint goddess gown at a charity event at Hampton Court Palace.” Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) is the number 24 spot. Ireland Online has the entire list , which will be found in the December issue of Harper’s Bazaar due out this week.
In an interview with the Edmonton Sun Emma speaks about Albus Dumbledore’s recent “coming out”. She says:
“I couldn’t believe what I was reading,” Watson tells Sun Media about the negative backlash toward author J.K. Rowling. “This is the 21st century! I just could not believe the amount of fuss that was being made over Dumbledore being gay.”
“I never actually thought about it before but, when she said it, I thought, ‘Oh, yeah, that makes sense.’ ”

Emma’s Official Site has been updated again with more information on the DVD launch.
I’ve had lots of E-mails asking if teh DVD launch set for November the 3rd will be a public event. I’m sorry to say that the launch will be for press only and will be held in a closed studio – we would hate to see you wasting your time and money in coming down to try and catch a glimpse of Emma when in reality it will not be possible. Hopefully we will get some pictures for you from the event though!
