I just had a mild heart attack everyone.   Koch Vision has acquired the rights to Ballet Shoes, so the movie will be released on DVD in the US sometime this autumn.

“This extremely well-produced drama was the must-see event for British television viewers during the holidays, and we’re thrilled to bring the story to U.S. audiences later this fall on DVD,” said Rosenberg. “Ballet Shoes is yet another example of KOCH Vision’s continued commitment to introduce exemplary programming from the U.K. and abroad to North America.”

I have known about these auctions for a week but I was waiting on confirmation before posting because those of us on the Sassy Forums had doubts about Emma’s item because of her letter. Thankfully Jo, on Emma’s official site, confirmed this for us!

Emma’s official site has been updated today with some fun news!

Emma made #26 on MSN’s “Fit Club” for keeping in shape by playing her favourite sports and her various dance activities.
Emma was also mentioned in People Magazine online for the Burberry outfit she wore recently to a Burberry & Vanity Fair evening at the National Potrtait Gallery in London, with a spokesperson for Burberry describing Emma as “a great image for Burberry – young, cool and edgy”.

This week is Fashion Week and although I have been filming during the day I managed to make it to the Burberry and Vanity Fair party at the National Portrait gallery. The photographs were so beautiful and I was chuffed with the book of all them that they gave me.

I met Christopher Bailey (the designer which was really exciting, i also met Johnny Borrell (who is modeling for Burberry at the moment) and went on to PPQ in the same cab. I’d never met him before so that was great as I’m a big Razorlight fan.

But goodness, I am really going to have to watch who I stand next to from now on! Maybe I should stand next to Orlando Bloom and then we can be said to be ‘dating’!

I am so excited to have been nominated for Best Actress at the Empire Awards..and I am now even more excited to have been nominated for best TV Actress for Ballet Shoes!! I was really surprised! MY friend, and very talented costume desginer Jany Temine has been nominated for Best Costume too, so hopefully we can go together (as long as I dont have an exam at that time!)

Emma has been nominated for an ‘Otto’ award (which are the awards given by the German magazine ‘Bravo’). Emma is up for best actress alongside a whole host of other people!
