Mr. Dursley in DH
Posted by Megs

SnitchSeeker has confirmed that Richard Griffiths is back for Deathly Hallows.

Firstly, we’ve spoken to a representative for Richard Griffiths, who plays Vernon Dursley in the franchise, and have confirmed that he will be back. He is likely to be shooting his scenes later this year, in the summer.

We have also spoken to Ralph Ineson’s agents about his role of Amycus Carrow. He had already been cast for Half-Blood Prince; however, at this moment in time, there are no plans for him to be in the last films. This, however, could change or else another actor could be cast in the role.

Reg Cattermole cast in DH
Posted by Megs

Steffan Rhodri has been cast to play Ministry of Magic employee Reg Cattermole. If you remember, Ron Weasley turns into him by using Polyjuice Potion, in Deathly Hallows.

“I’ll be filming in London during the autumn,” he said. “I’m really looking forward to it, it’s the biggest film I’ve been involved with.”

Thanks SS

David H Talks DH
Posted by Megs

At the Yes Man premiere, David Heyman spoke about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and more.

“We finished the sixth film which’ll be coming out next summer and we start filming the seventh which we’ll be breaking into two parts for a 54 week shoot starting in February.”

“You cast for the moment, you have no sense of how someone is going to survive or how they’re going to develop. I’ve been very fortunate with the kids. There are so many cases of young kids being damaged by the experience or going off the rails and fortunately with Dan, Rupert and Emma that hasn’t happened to them… yet. I don’t think its going to happen to them, they’re pretty together, really good kids, well – young adults now.”

Deluminator & Sirius’ motorbike in DH?
Posted by Megs

A poster over at TLC recently went to the Warner Bros Studio tour in Burbank, California and noticed that two items were not on display.  Sirius’ motorbike and the Deluminator!  He spoke to some staff members and they said they “had been recalled from the museum for filming commitments.”  So hopefully this means they will appear in Deathly Hallows the movie.

This is only a rumour, but hopefully it is true because these are in the book and should be in the movie!

Emma Thompson not returning for DH
Posted by Megs

In a new interview with MTV, Emma Thompson announced that she will not be returning for the Deathly Hallows films.

“I’m making my own ‘Nanny McPhee’ next year. They mean much more to me. The Harry Potters are great big franchises that are something I’m not emotionally attached to or necessarily particularly creatively attached to,” Thompson explained. “That’s more like doing a turn, whereas the Nanny McPhees are something I’ve written. The art is in those films, they’re very handmade, they’re something that’s very close to me. Those are the ones I really care about.”
