Thanks to TLC we have news of some Deathly Hallows casting!

Ministry of Magic worker Mafalda Hopkins has been recast and is now going to be played by actress Sophie Thompson, Emma Thompson’s sister (Prof Trelawney).

Ron’s Auntie Muriel will reportedly be played by Matyelok Gibbs.

Regulars on location were Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson and in addition there were around 20 Death Eaters, including the very scary Fenrir Greyback!! Plus the Snatchers, (two of which are played by Chase Armitage and Adam Brashaw) whom are well known already in the UK as ‘urban acrobatics’ (or experts in ‘free running’), and also trained in various forms of Martial Arts.

The scenes being shot here will be featured in both parts 1 & 2 of The Deathly Hallows. Night scenes and day action were shot by both film units; these include the capture of Harry, Ron and Hermione by the Snatchers (who then deliver them to Malfoy Manor), several scenes involving the Death Eaters and a scene in which Ron chases a rabbit through the forest!!!!

According to United Agents David Bradley will reprise his role as Argus Filch in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Sam Parham has been announced announced as the third Deathly Hallows Snatcher. Chase Armitage and Adam Brashaw are also going to be snatchers.

David O’Hara has been cast as Ministry of Magic employee Albert Runcorn in Deathly Hallows. Runcorn was employee Harry turned into with Polyjuice Potion in order to break into the Ministry and get the locket Horcrux.

Simon McBurney has been cast as Kreacher the House-elf’s voice-over in Deathly Hallows, according to his casting agency.  Timothy Bateson voiced Kreacher in Order of the Phoenix; but as we can see by this Simon is replacing him.
