Matthew Lewis on Night Shoots This Week
Posted by Megs

Matt has just confirmed via his Twitter that he will have night shooting this week!

Sat in the hotel. On nightshoots this week. I’ve brought my clubs so I think the driving range and then the swimming pool beckons.

So this means that Swinley Forest will be filming at night, which makes me assume that he is filming Hogwarts Battle scenes, yay!

Thanks Matthew-Lewis.com

Stuart Craig talks Snape and Potter Series
Posted by Megs

The Telegraph has a new interview with Harry Potter production designer Stuart Craig where he talks about working on the Potter series!  Thanks to Mugglenet we have scans of the article that you can see in the gallery.

“The last time I cried was a few days ago when we filmed the death of Alan Rickman’s character, Snape. It’s quite difficult to cry in rushes — where we watch the previous day’s work — but he is an extraordinary actor and he dies an extremely good death.”

Swinley Forest Filming Next Week
Posted by Megs

According to Get Bracknell filming will take place in Swinley Forest.

Gordon Thom, of London Taxi Tour, said: “I’ve been down there and there’s a wooden village they’ve built there.

“We know that the chap who plays Neville Longshanks will be down there this week but it’s likely they’ll only be filming at night.”

Another way to get a glimpse of the stars could be to pop in for a drink at the Golden Retriever pub in Nine Mile Ride.

Team leader Vicki Hicks said: “We haven’t had any of the stars come in yet but we’ve had a few of the extras and people working on the film come in so we’re hoping they’ll come in at some point.”

One thing I have to say is: Neville Longshanks?… o.O

Deathly Hallows Epilogue to be filmed last
Posted by Megs

In a new interview with MTV Tom Felton talks about filming the Epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and confirms that it will be the last scene shot.

“Jamie Christopher, the first [assistant director], was always really keen to do that as the final scene, because it’s such a poignant moment for the franchise, that fact that it’s 19 years on, and we get to see what happened to the characters,” said Felton, who plays blond baddie Draco Malfoy. “I confess we haven’t shot that yet, but we are all extremely excited to do so.”

“Daniel and I have been talking about it for ages, and we are excited to see what we look like 19 years later,” Felton said. “We want to make sure that it’s flattering and we don’t look like 60-year-olds.”

Felton counts himself lucky that his onscreen father, British actor Jason Isaacs, provides a very attractive mock-up of what Draco might look like in the future. “Jason Isaacs is a very good model,” Felton said. “He’s a very good-looking guy for his age.”
